Thrive Now Recovery Centers in Des Moines, IA is opening an outpatient program and seeks a Clinical Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy for SUD and behavioral health treatment. The role requires flexibility to accommodate evening groups and occasional weekend sessions as the program expands.

This is a full-time, outpatient position joining a collaborative, interdisciplinary team with a focus on evidence-based care and trauma-informed practices to support patients’ recovery

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field required.
• Current Iowa behavioral health license or eligibility before start.
• Experience in behavioral health or SUD treatment preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and trauma-informed care.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to outpatient patients.
• Complete clinical assessments and contribute to care level recommendations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with the team and patient.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapy groups and relapse-prevention approaches.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with nurses, care coordinators, and other team members.
