Job summary

Ranger Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Derrick Hand to monitor and maintain day-to-day operations on our well servicing rig in Texas. The role includes rigging up/down, tubing handling, and assisting in operating the rig when required.

Strong safety awareness and ability to follow SOPs are essential. Responsibilities include inspections of fall protection, equipment checks, and participation in safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience on a well servicing rig preferred (1+ year).
• Ability to perform manual labor required to operate well servicing equipment.
• Knowledge of running tongs and all other equipment.
• Competent communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible work schedule is expected.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain procedures of daily operations on the well servicing rig.
• Assist in rigging up/down, handling tubing, and operating the rig when necessary.
• Perform fall arrest system, harness, derrick, and hoisting inspections.
• Maintain clean and functional work site, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in safety briefings, JSA, and tailgate meetings; report unsafe conditions.
• Trains and mentors floor hand in daily operations.
