Job summary

Axis Energy Services, LLC in Ruth, MS is seeking a Derrick Hand to join a 4-5 person workover rig crew. The role involves performing elevated work on the derrick, routine maintenance on structures, and supporting other rig functions under the Tool Pusher or Rig Operator.

You will rig up/down, manage tubing and rod handling, drive the crew truck as needed, and ensure compliance with Axis safety programs. A pre-employment drug test and valid driver's license are required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rigging up/down and aligning the workover rig with the well.
• Perform elevated work on the derrick, tubing board, and rod basket.
• Maintain derrick structures and related rig components.
• Support other rig functions as directed by the Tool Pusher or Rig Operator.
• Drive the crew truck as needed and maintain a valid driver license.
