Anne Arundel Dermatology’s SkinPath Solutions in Smyrna, GA is hiring a Lab Assistant 1 to support daily pathology operations, including accessioning, patient record management, and routine equipment changes. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Completion of an associate degree is required.
• Previous laboratory experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with specimens and patient records.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and other laboratory team members.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient information into the laboratory system.
• Assign case numbers to specimens, slides, and cassettes.
• Pull and file patient records for physicians, client services, and laboratory staff.
• Match and quality-check patient records.
• Change solutions in laboratory processors.
• Change solutions in staining equipment.
• Fill client supply orders.
• Stock and organize laboratory supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
