Job summary

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, skills in typing (35 cwpm), and at least six months of clerical experience, preferably in a lab setting, plus basic hospital IT skills to navigate systems.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Typing skills of 35 cwpm preferred.
• Six months office clerical experience, with lab-specific experience preferred.
• Computer operation skills using a personal computer or hospital information system.

Responsibilities

• Receives and distributes specimens and packages.
• Provides clerical support for Anatomic Pathology.
• Communicates non-technical information correctly.
• Demonstrates fiscal responsibility and supports initiatives to improve financial strength.
