Job summary

Inform Diagnostics, a Fulgent Genetics Company, is seeking a Pathologist with Dermatopathology expertise to analyze dermatologic disease pathology and provide clinically relevant diagnoses. The role emphasizes clear communication of clinical significance and collaboration with clinicians and peers.

The position requires board certification or eligibility in AP/CP, and fellowship training in Dermatopathology, with eligibility for Massachusetts licensure. On-site work in Lexington, MA is expected.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor with Anatomical Pathology Board certification or eligibility and fellowship in Dermatopathology.
• MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Board Certified or eligible in AP or AP/CP by the American Board of Pathology.
• Fellowship in Dermatopathology preferred.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Massachusetts and other states.
• Strong surgical pathology skills with dermatopathology focus.
• Ability to present ideas and findings clearly in writing and oral discussions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine pathologic examination of Dermatologic biopsies.
• Evaluate dermatopathology specimens and render diagnoses for clinical management.
• Consult with peer pathologists on cases as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance and intradepartmental conferences.
• May train or supervise pathology staff and fellows.
• Contribute to research activities and scholarly output.
