Job summary

University of Miami Health System seeks two Open Rank Faculty members with Dermatopathology expertise. The roles involve clinical service at UMH, JMH, and satellites, plus academic duties in Dermatopathology and translational research.

Chosen candidates will provide expert diagnostic interpretations, contribute to multidisciplinary boards, and deliver education to medical students, residents, and fellows, while maintaining leadership in quality assurance and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Subspecialty focus in Dermatopathology; fellowship training preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology with Dermatopathology fellowship.
• Florida medical license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as expert clinical and academic faculty within the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary tumor boards and disease-site conferences; deliver lectures and advanced instruction to learners.
• Perform and interpret intraoperative frozen sections; participate in call coverage as assigned.
• Engage in departmental quality assurance activities and collaborative research in Dermatopathology.
