Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor orhigher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensuratewith selected candidate's experience. Expected Salary Range:$270,000 to $375,000. The referenced salary range reflects basepay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salaryrange does not include all components of the departmental facultycompensation program or pay from participation in departmentalvariable compensation programs. The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximumsalaries for this position and is based on the University ofMaryland School of Medicine's good faith belief at the time ofposting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end ofthe salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selectedcandidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors,which may include the successful candidate's geographic location,skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions,education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined bythe University.

The faculty member will provide dermatopathologyinterpretation and consultation and may participate in clinicaldermatology or another area of surgical pathology, depending ontraining, interests, and departmental needs.
