Job summary

QualDerm Partners is seeking a compassionate Registered Radiation Therapist Technologist (RTT) to support Superficial Radiation Therapy treatments in our dermatology practice. The 20-hour-per-week role involves operating SRT equipment, preparing rooms, and educating patients while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited Radiation Therapy program, ARRT RT(T) certification, state licensure if applicable, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program required.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T)) required.
• Current state licensure, where applicable.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer superficial radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the supervising physician and according to established treatment protocols.
• Prepare patients for treatment by reviewing treatment plans, explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Operate and maintain SRT equipment safely and effectively.
• Verify patient identity, treatment site, dosage, and physician orders prior to treatment administration.
• Monitor patients during treatment and report any concerns, reactions, or complications to the provider.
• Accurately document treatments and patient responses in the EMR.
• Maintain treatment records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Perform routine quality assurance checks and assist with equipment calibration and maintenance.
