Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Specialty Business Manager in the Dermatology franchise. This role focuses on educating healthcare providers, driving demand, and executing local strategy to meet sales goals across targeted dermatology accounts.

The SBM will manage education programs, collaboration with HCPs, and cross-functional coordination to ensure patient access and safe product use. The position is based in New York with a virtual/remote setup, requiring travel up to 25-50% to accounts and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree – BA/BS.
• 3+ years of selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical devices; or 2+ years at Takeda.
• Experience calling on Dermatologists/Dermatology preferred.
• Strong verbal, influencing, presentation and written communication skills.
• Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Responsibilities

• Support account onboarding through education.
• Engage in clinical selling activities, delivering the clinical value proposition.
• Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities for HCPs.
• Conduct account management activities within Dermatology practices and clinics.
• Attain sales goals by delivering product volume and other key metrics in the Territory.
• Establish professional relationships with HCPs and stakeholders to support safe use of products.
• Develop and deliver a targeted sales message based on approved materials.
• Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
• Present complex clinical and business information to dermatology audiences.
• Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
• Strategically manage budgets and resources across functions.
