UC San Diego's Department of Dermatology seeks a Scientist or Physician-Scientist at the Assistant Professor rank to advance basic research in Cutaneous Biology. The appointment may include clinical duties and teaching responsibilities as well as research oversight.

The successful candidate will join a productive group with interests in immunology, microbiology, developmental biology, and cancer biology in the skin, and will be expected to secure external funding and run an independent program,

Qualificações

• MD or equivalent, MD/PhD, or PhD in health-related fields.
• Must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Dermatology.
• At least 2 research publications.

Responsabilidades

• Teach, perform research, participate in university service, and may have clinical duties.
• Short-term and long-term goals include competing for and securing extramural funding and establishing an innovative research program.
