UC San Diego's Department of Dermatology invites applications for Scientist or Physician-Scientist at the Assistant Professor rank to advance basic research in Cutaneous Biology. The successful candidates will join a productive group with research programs in immunology, microbiology, developmental biology, or cancer biology in the skin.

They will teach, perform research, and may have clinical duties. The appointment is 50% Ladder Rank/50% In-Residence with secured extramural funding, and

Formación

• MD or MD/PhD, or PhD in health-related fields required at time of application.
• Must have or be eligible for California medical license or equivalent certification/permit; board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Dermatology.

Responsabilidades

• Teach and perform research in Dermatology.
• Participate in university service.
• Clinical duties may be included, with outpatient/inpatient care as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program.
