Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with small animal surgical procedures and sterile technique.
• Ability to train others and manage lab tasks effectively.
• Independent, innovative contribution to experimental design.
• Knowledge of mouse biology, genetics and physiology.
• Background in biology or immunology relevant to dermatology.
• Experience with protein expression and purification.
• Experience with mouse colony management.
• Experience with PCR/QPCR.
• Experience with bioinformatics data analysis is a plus.
• Experience with ChIP-Seq and RNA-Seq techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments using biological materials and manage lab upkeep.
• Oversee mouse breeding and perform mouse surgeries.
• Prepare reagents and assist with immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in the lab.
• Design analyses and write analysis plans and reports for studies.
