Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network seeks a physician to provide high quality, cost effective medical care in general care and hospital settings.

The physician will perform history and physical examinations, initiate treatment, and coordinate care with referring physicians, patients, and families while contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• Licensed by the state licensure board in the State of practice.
• Board certification/eligible in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine.
• Make best efforts to adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by the medical staff.
• Collaborates with referring physicians, patients and their families, and other professionals to coordinate care.

Education

MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice.

Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board.
