Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment and treatment appropriate to patient age.
• Provides regular, timely communication with referring physicians, patients and families.
• Participates in education of patients and their families.
• Evaluates and implements patient health care needs and initiates treatment via prescriptions and procedures.
• Coordinates patient care and makes referrals to physicians, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, et cetera.
