Position Overview

A Tallahassee-based clinic is seeking a motivated and compassionate General Dermatologist to join a collaborative, outpatient interdisciplinary practice. Candidates with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should value practicing evidence-based medicine and be comfortable treating patients of all ages. Preference will be given to Mohs surgeons who also see medical and surgical dermatology cases, but a comprehensive General Dermatologist is also welcome.

Required Qualifications

• FL medical license as an MD or DO
• Completion of an approved residency program
• Board certification in primary care
• FL DEA certificate before start date
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide direct primary care and ambulatory outpatient care to clinic patients
• Conduct in-service training for clinic staff to enhance patient care
• Assist in developing clinic protocols and procedures to ensure quality medical care
• Participate in utilization and peer review programs to evaluate the quality of medical services
• Supervise and consult with physician assistants and nurse practitioners
• Offer consultation services to practitioners via telephone as necessary
