Tareen Dermatology is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our dispensary team in the Twin Cities area. The role involves processing prescriptions, assisting with dispensing, and resolving insurance issues in a clinic setting.

Candidates should have high school completion and 1–2 years in healthcare or pharmacy. Strong attention to detail, communication, and customer service are essential for success in our fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years healthcare or pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions from providers and capture patient information.
• Process electronic and written prescriptions, including refills.
• Assist in preparation and dispensing, including insurance adjudication.
• Resolve insurance issues, prior authorizations, and drug utilization reviews.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the computer system.
• Handle inventory control and special orders as needed.
• Answer inquiries from customers and staff professionally.
• Take and make calls as required; perform cash register tasks.
• Perform administrative duties and other duties as assigned.
