Job summary

Pinehurst Dermatology & Mohs Surgery Center in Pinehurst, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider—PA or NP—to join our established practice. This role offers clinical autonomy with physician collaboration and a supportive clinical/administrative team.

The successful candidate will have PA-C or NP credentials, 2+ years in dermatology, NC license or eligibility, and strong dermatology skills with a focus on patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Minimum of two years of dermatology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
• Active North Carolina license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Strong medical dermatology and procedural skills
• Excellent communication and patient-engagement abilities
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality clinical care
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient environment

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common and complex dermatologic conditions
• Perform total-body skin examinations and skin cancer screenings
• Conduct biopsies, excisions, and other in-office dermatologic procedures
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Provide follow-up care for acute and chronic dermatologic conditions
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prevention, and skincare
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical team
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
