Job summary

Pinehurst Dermatology & Mohs Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider—PA-C or NP—to join our established practice in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The role offers clinical autonomy with physician collaboration and a supportive team.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating conditions, skin exams, biopsies, and developing personalized care plans, with a focus on patient education, safety, and quality care in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Minimum of two years of dermatology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider.
• Active North Carolina license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong medical dermatology and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-engagement abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality clinical care.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common and complex dermatologic conditions.
• Perform total-body skin examinations and skin cancer screenings.
• Conduct biopsies, excisions, and other in-office dermatologic procedures.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Provide follow-up care for acute and chronic dermatologic conditions.
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prevention, and skincare.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
