Job summary

The MedServ Group in Orlando, Florida seeks a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis. You will provide compassionate dermatology care to elderly residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities, performing exams, documenting histories, and contributing to patient care plans.

Compensation ranges from $35.00-$40.00 per patient or $60.00-$65.00 per hour. Typical schedule is 9AM-5PM, with 7–8 hours of patient visits per day and 20-25 patients per visit.

Qualifications

• CN P/Certified Nurse Practitioner License is required.
• Graduate of an NP program or NP certification by a national association.
• Dermatology experience in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home.
• DO/MD/NP with dermatology specialization from an approved university.
• Experience using diagnostic techniques and implementing treatments.
• Experience managing a diverse staff and patient-base; strong communication with elderly.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and patient observations.
• Record medical histories and symptoms.
• Create patient care plans and contribute to existing ones.
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and operate medical equipment as needed.
• Diagnose health issues and communicate with the physician on call.
• Administer medications and other treatments.
