Job summary

The MedServ Group in the United States is seeking a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis. You will provide dermatology services to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities, conducting exams, treatments, and care plans while coordinating with physicians on call.

Typical schedule is 9AM to 5PM, with 7-8 hours per day and 20-25 patients per visit. The position includes coverage for medical malpractice insurance and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must hold an NP license and be credentialed to practice.
• Graduate of a state-registered NP program or NP certification in Dermatology.
• Dermatology experience in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home setting.
• DO/MD or NP specializing in Dermatology from an approved university.
• Ability to apply diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and treatments.
• Experience managing a diverse staff and patient base.
• Strong communication and compassionate approach with the elderly.
• BCLS or ACLS required; DEA license required.
• DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and patient observations.
• Record patients' medical histories and symptoms.
• Create patient care plans and contribute to existing ones.
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and operate medical equipment as needed.
• Diagnose health issues and share it with the physician on call.
• Administer medicine and other treatments.
