Job summary

Canton Dermatology Clinic in Canton, MI is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant with Mohs experience to join our growing team. You will support the Mohs surgeon two days a week and assist in the dermatology clinic the rest of the week.

This role offers hands-on exposure to medical, surgical, Mohs, and cosmetic dermatology in a collaborative environment. Prior Mohs experience is preferred and patient care is our priority.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year Medical Assistant experience
• Prior Mohs surgery experience preferred
• Experience assisting with dermatologic or surgical procedures preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain examination and surgical rooms
• Assist Mohs surgeon and other providers with procedures
• Support Mohs surgical process and patient flow
• Provide clinical assistance during dermatologic procedures
• Maintain instruments, supplies, and inventory
• Greet patients with professional, compassionate service
• Update patient information and EMR documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients and team
• Ensure clean, organized clinical environment
• Follow infection-control protocols and safety procedures
