Job summary

UTHealth Houston is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to support the Mohs surgery program by coordinating surgical scheduling and multidisciplinary patient care. The role acts as a central contact for patients, ensuring a seamless journey from scheduling through surgery and follow-up.

Ideal candidates have experience in dermatology, Mohs surgery, or specialty clinic coordination, with strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
• Use and care of standard clinic equipment required.
• Manages Human Resources activities of department (recruiting, hiring, training, performance, salary planning).

Responsibilities

• Provides trained paramedical support and a variety of clerical tasks to support clinic functions.
• Conducts initial screening of occupational medicine patients and related tests.
• Assists physicians during examinations and coordinates patient flow.
• Maintains patient records and schedules appointments and tests.
• Orders and stocks clinic supplies and coordinates equipment maintenance.
• Responds to emergencies and supports data entry for HR/finance systems.
