Job summary

LEO Pharma is seeking a Medical Science Liaison in Dermatology to engage experts, drive evidence-based dialogue, and advance patient outcomes across the greater Chicago territory. Qualifications

• PharmD, Ph.D., MD, DO strongly preferred.
• 1+ years MSL experience.
• Dermatology or immunology background is a plus.
• 1+ years prior experience working in pharmaceutical industry or related experience with medical/scientific focus.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately ~70% of the time, and must reside within 45 minutes of a major U.S. airport.
• Understanding of the current pharmaceutical environment and applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to develop and execute a territory clinical plan, with strong ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build productive professional relationships.
• Strong presentation skills and highly adaptive, agile, and able to navigate evolving conditions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with external experts and investigators in dermatology.
• Provide educational and technical information, including response to unsolicited drug information inquiries.
• Develop and execute territory clinical plans; work cross-functionally.
• Present and moderate advisory boards; create medical slides for review.
• Travel and build relationships with investigators and P&T committee members.
