Job summary

Dermatology Consultants, P.A. is a private dermatology practice with 24 providers across four East Metro locations, celebrating 75 years in business since 1949. The Medical Assistant or LPN collaborates with the provider on the patient care team.

This role performs hands-on patient care, assists with procedures, EMR scribing, lab duties, and phlebotomy, with a competitive pay range and strong benefits package offered by Dermatology Consultants.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing Program with CMA, RMA or LPN certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering warm and professional patient care.
• Proficient EMR experience and clinical duties including injections and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with surgical and medical procedures, including excisions, biopsies and cosmetic services.
• Prepare rooms, stay with patient to scribe in EMR during visits.
• Perform clinical tasks: injections, phlebotomy, instrument cleaning, specimen handling, and patient education.
