Job summary

Dermatology Consultants, P.A. is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to work with our dermatologists, providing patient care and supporting examinations and procedures across a caring private practice serving the East Metro for 75+ years.

You'll assist with patient flow, perform scribing in the EMR, and support laser hair removal, injections, and phlebotomy, while maintaining a warm, professional environment. Competitive benefits and holiday bonus eligibility are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing Program with a current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA or LPN) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment.
• Ability to multi-task and to provide services to patients in a warm and professional manner.
• EMR experience; ability to document/scribe in a detailed manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance to physicians for surgical and medical procedures such as excisions, skin biopsies, wart treatments, cosmetic services, etc.
• Room patients and stay with patient throughout visit to scribe for physician in EMR system.
• Perform clinical and administrative duties including laser hair removal, photodynamic therapy, injections, phlebotomy, instrument cleaning, scheduling, and patient education.
