Qualifications

• Experience as Medical Assistant in clinical/procedural settings.
• Ability to assist physicians during exams and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during exams, procedures, and surgical cases.
• Prepare/administer medications and injections per policy.
• Prepare patients for treatment with histories and consent documentation.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, injections, and suture removals.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms.
• Perform specimen handling and collection.
• Document care, medications, test results, and procedures.
• Coordinate appointments, referrals, and testing.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies; respond to in-clinic emergencies.
• Uphold HIPAA, safety standards, and quality care protocols.
