Job summary

Forefront Dermatology in Missouri is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology and plastic surgery clinicians. You will greet and room patients, document vitals, review medications, and assist with in-office procedures in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinic.

This full-time role requires 1+ year in a medical office, ability to travel to other clinic locations, and willingness to obtain CDT designation. We offer comprehensive benefits and a 40-hour schedule Tue–Fri, 7am–5pm.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office or similar clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain Certified Dermatology Technician (CDT) designation within the established timeframe.
• Maintains all required state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations as a condition of employment.
• Willingness and ability to travel to other clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, collect and document vital signs, patient history, and reason for visit.
• Review medication list and support e-prescribing workflow.
• Assist with scribing and documenting encounters in the EMR.
• Prepare patients for dermatology procedures and assist clinicians during procedures.
• Maintain sterile fields and manage supplies in exam rooms.
