Qualifications

• 0-3 years of medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be willing to travel to all locations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to manage up to 40 patients daily.
• Document patient histories including HPI, medical, surgical, and family histories.
• Prepare and assist with dermatology and cosmetic procedures (biopsies, I&D, lasers, excisions).
• Administer local anesthesia and remove sutures as directed.
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control.
• Perform scribing duties and input templates/chart notes.
• Process prescription refills and manage prior authorizations.
• Log pathology samples and coordinate with laboratories.
• Operate specialized equipment (Narrowband UVB, PDT units).
• Maintain and replenish liquid nitrogen.
• Stock examination rooms and supply areas.
• Adhere to infection control protocols.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Travel to all locations as needed.
