You will support licensed providers in clinic and surgical settings, perform vitals, prepare exam rooms, and document patient information with accuracy. Responsibilities include assisting during procedures, administering medications as directed, handling specimens, scheduling, and ensuring sterile conditions.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology is required.
• Knowledge of sterile technique, anatomy, and medications.
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable.
• Knowledge of English, written and spoken.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Record medical history, medications, allergies, and test results in records.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing.
• Explain procedures, medications, diets, wound care instructions to patients.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Maintain sterile fields and organize supplies.
• Ensure proper documentation of all procedures.
