Job summary

Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a team dedicated to exceptional patient care in dermatology and aesthetic services. You will support clinicians, manage patient histories, and educate patients on skin health and treatments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required
• Must be computer literate
• CPR certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain within 4 weeks
• Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs
• At least one year of Dermatology experience preferred
• MA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate skin conditions of patients
• Assess and update medical histories of patients
• Keep records of patients’ dermatological symptoms
• Analyze information regarding skin health conditions
• Inform patients about proper and available treatments
• Conduct non-intrusive medical procedures
• Educate patients about preventive skin care
• Screen patients and employees daily upon entry
