QualDerm Partners, supporting Pinnacle Dermatology in Brighton, MI, seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dermatology team. You will prepare patients, assist physicians, and help maintain records in a fast-paced clinic.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, accurate documentation, and excellent communication. Proficiency with EHR and dermatology terminology is preferred, with opportunities to contribute to patient education and the clinic's community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Proven MA experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of dermatology terminology.
• Strong communication and confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in EHR and office software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
• Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices
• Ensure the examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies
• May participate in supporting the clinic's social media presence, including gathering content, sharing clinic-approved updates, and assisting with community engagement efforts as directed
