Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam by taking vital signs and documenting chief complaints.
• Assists with exams and minor in-office procedures (blood pressure, temp, phlebotomy, EKG) and manages patient flow.
• Coordinates and manages patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions and scheduling.
• Provides clerical support and ensures documentation and billing data are complete and accurate.
• Maintains clean, sterile environment and proper disinfection of exam rooms and equipment.
• Orders supplies and stocks patient care areas.
