Job summary

Saguaro Dermatology in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations. The role delivers safe, compassionate patient care under the direction of a provider and/or nurse, while working within the practice's scope.

You will room patients, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, manage EMR documentation, and help with scanning, paperwork, and patient history. The position is regular full-time with weekday schedule and benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (preferred).
• Scribe or Dermatology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist the provider as needed.
• Prepare treatment rooms for exams and procedures, always keeping room neat and clean.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly exam room cleaning, inventorying, and equipment checks.
• Assist with scanning paperwork and uploading pictures into the EMR, scribing for provider.
• Record new patients’ medical history, medications, allergies, and pertinent information in the EMR.
• Reinforce doctors’ instructions regarding procedures and results.
