Job summary

QualDerm Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Scottsdale team. In this part-time role you will prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and support the physician during dermatology procedures to ensure a smooth patient experience.

You'll work Tuesday through Friday on an alternating-week schedule, maintain accurate records in the EHR, educate patients on treatments, and help keep the clinic organized and welcoming in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; MA certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dermatology.
• Strong communication and confidentiality in handling patient information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring instruments are ready.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Schedule appointments and manage office communications.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare practices.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized and stocked.
