Job summary

QualDerm Partners LLC is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dermatology team in a part-time role (20-29 hours per week). You will prepare patients for exams, assist physicians, and help with basic lab work, record-keeping, and patient education to support aesthetic and dermatology services.

The ideal candidate has clinical MA experience, strong communication, and familiarity with EHR systems, ensuring confidentiality and efficient office operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; MA certification preferred.
• Experience as Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and dermatology practices.
• Strong communication skills with discretion and confidentiality.
• Proficient with EHR and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring instruments are available.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare practices.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized and stocked.
