Responsibilities

• Enter visit information in EMR.
• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and surgeries.
• Record and document patient history in charts.
• Answer calls, voicemails, and clinical questions.
• Review medical history and counsel on status and need for further evaluation.
• Explain/document laboratory results and pathology results.
• Call in prescription refills.
• Explain procedures and treatments.
• Coordinate prior authorizations.
