Advanced Dermatology and Skin Care Center is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant / LPN to join our dermatology and medical aesthetics team in Alliance, OH and Boardman, OH.

The role involves room preparation, patient vitals, assisting with procedures, specimen prep, and coordinating tests and referrals in a busy dermatology practice. Prior dermatology or EMA experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in taking patient vitals
• Immunization procedures
• Charting and documentation

• Sterile techniques
• Routine lab procedures
• Infectious waste handling

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam rooms for patients and ensures supplies are stocked.
• Escort patients, take vital signs, assess needs and record visit details.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as sutures and minor surgeries.
• Prepare specimens and coordinate with outside labs.
• Schedule tests and coordinate referrals and tests.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
