Job summary

UTHealth Houston Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant III to provide clinical and administrative support, preparing for patient visits, rooming patients, recording vitals, assisting with exams, and maintaining exam rooms and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program or 1 year of related experience with certification.
• Certification as CMA, RMA, NCMA or CCMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits and room patients.
• Record vital signs and assist with exams and procedures.
• Schedule follow-ups and manage clerical duties.
• Maintain exam rooms and ensure clinic supplies.
