Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA II) who works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties to assist in patient care. The MA II is fully competent in clinical needs for the assigned clinic/location and adheres to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or has minimum one year of MA experience with clinical skills (vital signs, injections, medication administration).
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months Healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.
