Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA II) who will operate under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to assist in patient care. The MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in clinical duties for the assigned clinic/location, following established policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, or a registered medical assistant/apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces or at least one year of MA experience with clinical skills (vital signs, injections, medication administration).
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.
