Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology and plastic surgery teams in a fast-paced clinic. Responsibilities include greeting patients, rooming, collecting vitals, and assisting with in-office procedures while documenting in the EHR.

The successful candidate will help maintain sterile fields and ensure efficient patient flow. State registration or credentialing requirements may apply; EMT, CNA or Surgical Tech credentials are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of recent medical office experience.
• Ability to obtain CDT designation within timeframe.
• Maintain required state certifications, licenses, and registrations.
• Willingness to travel to other clinic locations.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Greet and room patients, collect and document vital signs, patient history, and reason for visit.
• Review medication list and support e-prescribing workflow.
• Assist with scribing and documenting in the EHR.
• Set up procedural trays and maintain sterile fields for minor procedures.
• Prepare patients for dermatologic procedures (biopsies, phototherapy).
• Assist clinicians during procedures by handing instruments and documenting notes.
