Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in Sebastian, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a patient-focused team dedicated to quality care and comfort. You will support clinicians, manage patient intake, and help with basic dermatology procedures in a fast-paced dermatology practice.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, strong computer skills, and the ability to learn medical terminology and vital signs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be computer literate.
• CPR certification preferred or obtainable within 4 weeks of employment.
• Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs.
• At least one year of Dermatology experience preferred.
• MA certificate/diploma from medical vocational program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating skin conditions of patients.
• Assessing & updating medical history of patients.
• Keeping a record of patients’ dermatological symptoms.
• Analyzing info regarding the conditions of skin health.
• Informing patients about proper and available treatments.
• Conducting non-intrusive medical surgeries.
• Educating patients about preventive skin care.
• Screening patients and employees daily upon entry.
