Job summary

Schweiger Bala Cynwyd is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant to perform high-quality clinical, administrative and patient-facing tasks in a busy dermatology setting. You will support physicians during medical, cosmetic and laser procedures and help ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires healthcare experience, dermatology exposure and proficiency with EMR, scheduling systems, and MS Office. Open weekdays with some weekend coverage; teamwork and communication are essential in delivering

Qualifications

Dermatology experience preferred.
Healthcare experience required.
Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Open availability to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines.
Prepare exam rooms before and after patients and ensure equipment is functioning.
Explain pre-care and post-care instructions to patients.
Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed.
Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities.
