Job summary

Schweiger is looking for a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Upper West Side Office. The Medical Assistant performs high-quality medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting, with prior healthcare experience required.

We hire college graduates and gap year students who show interest in the medical field. Schedule: Full-time, 30+ hours per week, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours 7:00am–7:30pm.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance care.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, and procedures in the chart.
