DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and patient care in a fast-paced dermatology setting. You will assist physicians, manage documentation in the EHR, and help maintain a smooth patient flow throughout visits.

The ideal candidate brings medical office experience, HIPAA knowledge, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude to ensure high-quality patient experiences within our community of providers.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a medical office.
• Ability to learn center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to deliver high patient care and service.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient information and collect medical history and visit purpose.
• Enter information into the EHR system.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for examinations.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Process prescriptions and schedule procedures.
• Take blood draws and perform basic phlebotomy tasks.
• Maintain supplies and inventory in the center.

Conocimientos

Medical office experience

HIPAA compliance

ICD-10 & CPT coding (preferred)

ModMed EMA EMR (preferred)

Team player
