Job summary

Rocky Mountain Dermatology in Boulder, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced dermatology office. The role includes greeting and rooming patients, assisting with examinations, documenting in EMR, triaging calls, and supporting cosmetic treatments such as Botox and lasers.

One year commitment is required. CDT certification is provided within 90 days, paid for by RMD. Compensation ranges from $19 to $22 per hour, depending on experience, with a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in rooming, scribing, and treating patients.
• Greets and welcomes patients, escorts to exam rooms; conducts preliminary health intake; documents visit in EMR.
• Triages phone calls, manages refill requests, and handles prior authorizations.
• Order lab tests, communicate pathology results, assist with surgical procedures, sterilize equipment, and clean exam rooms.
• Assist with cosmetic treatments (Botox, laser, fillers, etc.).
• Rotate through front desk role.
