Job summary

Skin and Aesthetics Center, operated by ABACUS DERMATOLOGY MANAGEMENT LLC, seeks a Medical Assistant to support dermatology exams and cosmetic procedures. You will take vital signs, review histories, and document in the EHR, while assisting and preparing patients for treatments.

You will also help with skin checks, biopsies, cryotherapy, and cosmetic services, including chemical peels, laser treatments, and injectables, while maintaining rooms and equipment across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for dermatology exams and cosmetic procedures.
• Take vital signs, review medical histories, and update patient charts in the EHR system.
• Assist providers with procedures such as skin checks, biopsies, cryotherapy, suture removal, and aesthetic services (e.g., chemical peels, laser treatments, injectables).
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection following sterilization and safety protocols.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient care.
• Travel between assigned practice locations as needed to provide coverage.
