Job summary

Paycom - ATS Dermatology is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians in exams, procedures, and minor surgery. You will prepare patients, manage medications and injections, and keep accurate records in EMR/EHR systems.

A strong emphasis on patient care and clinical excellence drives our fast-paced environment. You will also handle wound care, specimen collection, and coordination of referrals while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have completed high school or GED and possess basic computer literacy.
• Experience supporting physicians in exams, procedures, and minor surgery is preferred.
• Attention to detail in documentation, med administration, and patient safety is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during exams, procedures, and surgical cases.
• Prepare and administer medications and injections per policy.
• Prepare patients for treatment, including histories and consent forms.
• Perform wound care, dressings, injections, and suture removals.
• Document care, medications, test results, and procedures accurately.
• Coordinate appointments, referrals, and testing; stock exam rooms.
