Job summary

Intermountain Health in Logan, Utah is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for the Budge Dermatology Clinic. This 20-hour weekly role includes Monday and Tuesday shifts from 6:45 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., with MOHS certification preferred and duties including scribing for providers. You will support clinical teams, gather visit information, and communicate with patients via phone and in-person visits while maintaining privacy and PHI.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least one year MA experience or current active RN/LPN license to practice in Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers; must be obtained prior to start date.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and caregivers to deliver high patient satisfaction.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.
• Utah-specific: MA residency program may be required if certified with less than one year MA experience.
